Sorry about the delay. We’re back! Here are the cheats for the awesome new edition of Guitar Hero. Enjoy the cheats while rocking with your friends as a band or on your own!
As always, when in the CHEATS menu, select “Enter new cheat” and then just hit the frets in a specific order to unlock something.
This guy Freddie plays the most awesome guitar hero, with hilarious mannerism and stage presence, lol. You gotta watch it carefully to appreciate all that is going on here…he’s like, the cooler Napolian Dynamite on Guitar Hero lol!
As always, the cheat codes and entry method may differ a little bit from platform to platform. Here’s the cheat code list for Guitar Hero III / 3 PC game.
Be sure to enter the codes in the “cheats menu” under “options”. Make sure you strum every note/chord.
Neversoft director Brian Bright announced that Guitar Hero World Tour Xbox edition will be able to recognize Rock Band’s instruments. Auto configuration will be able to detect whether the drum plug-in is that of GH World Tour or Rock Band and make the necessary adjustments. This announcement currently applies solely to the Xbox platform. Playstation 3 folks will have to wait for word from Sony.
This YouTube tutorial can instruct you on how to put custom songs onto Guitar Hero 3 for PlayStation 2 and be completed in less than 20 min. It uses a tool called BuildGH3 which can be downloaded here.

Check out the new Guitar hero commercials by David Cook and David Archuleta. It’s actually pretty hilarious. I think David Cook was good, but David Archuleta looked really funny in this video. Anyhow, what are your thoughts on the new Guitar Hero commercials?
