Guitar Hero World Tour instrument compatibility for Xbox only?

Neversoft director Brian Bright announced that Guitar Hero World Tour Xbox edition will be able to recognize Rock Band’s instruments. Auto configuration will be able to detect whether the drum plug-in is that of GH World Tour or Rock Band and make the necessary adjustments. This announcement currently applies solely to the Xbox platform. Playstation 3 folks will have to wait for word from Sony.

This YouTube tutorial can instruct you on how to put custom songs onto Guitar Hero 3 for PlayStation 2 and be completed in less than 20 min. It uses a tool called BuildGH3 which can be downloaded here.

The following are codes for Guitar Hero PS2 for both NTSC and PAL versions. Old news I know, but for those of you revisiting the good old Guitar Hero, enjoy.
