Yes you can because I tried it before. Actually, the GH2 controller can be used on any Guitar Hero Game and that RB is compatible with almost any guitar, mic and drums.

Yes your Guitar Hero guitar WILL work with Rock Band 1 & 2 BUT it wont work the other way so you can NOT play guitar hero use the rock band guitar.

yes you can use the guitar hero2 guitar for rock band, because i have rock band and have used the guitar, many times, and it has worked perfectly every time
