Anyone who says this is just like playing a real guitar is a moron first of all and has obviously never played a real one. BUT playing guitar hero increases finger speed, cns efficiency which DOES carry over to the real instrument which makes you a better guitarist. If you only play guitar hero you are a gamer. If you use it to supplement your? real guitar playing you are a musician

it has nothing to do play this game, to a real guitar, it´s a whole different experience.
